Iggy Azalea recently made headlines after she and Azealia Banks  got in a heated hip hop beef, which Grand Hustle leader, T.I. stated was a bitch beef.

Then Azealia Banks fired shots at The Grand Hustle head honcho, telling him to “Please Shut The F*ck Up…Like Seriously”

As Tip puts it - Iggy Azalea is not signed to Interscope and is currently a free agent.

So did, T.I. drop her after the beef with Azealia Banks? Curious minds wanna know, right?

The reason we say this is because back in January, Iggy had announced that she was with Interscope, but it seems that is no longer the case.

DMX say he’s all about his music these days and he is working on being more professional about his career.

DMX told MTV News in an recent interview that his return to music signifies that he’s more professional than ever and The Weigh In EP is just the beginning.

Dark Man X said:

“It’s a good thing. I wish it was always like that but you can’t really worry about what people think, what they say. I just gotta do me.”

“The focus is on taking the music seriously, as a job, and less trouble.”

He added:

“Everywhere I go people are like, ‘When’s the album droppin? When’s the album droppin’?’ So I was just like, lemme hit ‘em with something, let them know, give them a little appetizer of what it’s gonna be like,” he said. “Not the same songs, because I’m sitting on like three albums right now, but ya know, just what it’s gonna be like.”

Just one month after the Washington Post, reported Chuck Brown had been hospitalized with pneumonia, the ’Godfather of Go-Go’ has died.

Brown’s manager confirmed his death earlier today. Brown passed away at the age of 75 at a Baltimore hospital. – Flip and get more details…

According to Essence, the songwriter/guitarist Chuck Brown is credited with pioneering Go-Go, a unique percussive style of music rooted in funk and R&B that quickly became a staple in the Washington D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia areas.

Brown’s most popular song, “Bustin’ Loose,” was released in 1978 and spent four weeks on Billboard charts. Rapper Nelly later sampled it for his hit song, “Hot in Herre” in 2002. Though Go-Go never became popular outside of Beltway, Brown remained a local legend and would often perform to sold-out crowds. He recently canceled a performance at the reopening of the Howard Theatre due to his illness.

Lat week, Beyoncé was awarded by the New York Association of Black Journalists (NYABJ) for an article for her “Eat, Play, Love” article written for Essence Magazine.

 Everyone was in attendance, except for Beyonce at the 24th annual Scholarship & Awards Ceremony held by the New York Association of Black Journalists (NYABJ).

The event was held at Malcom X & Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial and Educational Center.  There was a lot of buzz surrounding the event this year in anticipation that Beyonce would attend the ceremony served to recognize the work of more than 40 journalists.

Of course, Beyonce did NOT attend the event, which stunned many of the attendees.

How  tacky!

There is no word yet as to why she couldn’t make it.

Still there were a few well-known attendees including Melanie Fiona, Mashonda, Emil Wilbekin,Tonya Lee, and Constance White (Editor-in-Chief of Essence Magazine), which were grateful for the honor.

50 Cent’s good friend Floyd Mayweather Jr. is asking fans to keep him in their prayers.

Mayweather said earlier today on V103′s Ryan Cameron show:

“Please keep 50 Cent in your prayers he is in the hospital and he is extremely sick…we will remain positive,” 

Though, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is hoping for a quick recovery for his pal, 50 Cent is keeping his fans posted via Twitter on his condition.

50 posted on Twitter:

“I don’t want to go into surgery. @FloydMayweather call my phone why your phone off,” the music mogul wrote on the social networking site. “Do not do a @djdrama gangsta grillz this is all I get. Ain’t this a b*tch. I give 15 tracks you give me this.” 

A worried, yet confident Curtis followed up tweeting:

“I’m in the hospital but my gangsta grillz LOST TAPE is done so it will be out on time.”

Though 50 Cents illness has yet been revealed. We wish him the best and will keep 50 Cent in our prayers tonight.
