The Highlights of the BET Awards 2009 started off with Ne-Yo singing Michael Jackson’s “Lady In My Life,” which brought tears to our eyes. Then Beyonce came out with with he version “Av’e Maria,” A stellar performance, she came out of her box tonight with a very unbeyonce-ish approach. Next Jamie Foxx walked Beyonce after receiving her awards for Best R&B and introducing Bey Swagga-licious hubby Jay-Z rocking the house with an untouchable performance of “Death To Autotune.”

But it was Tevin Cambel, Johnny Gill, Trey Songz and Tyrese who got the crowd standing cheering, crying and loving singing “Back Stabbers,” which brought the house down. It was one of the best performances of the night and we have to bow our heads to an incredible performance. Great to see you Tevin, it’s been a minute. And much love to all at BET for a wonderful night.

There were a few bumps along the way and some dead space in the show. ya’ll need to tighten it up, but it’s BET and not too bad. To all the artist who celebrated Michael tonight Thank you. Michael we miss you and much love. Remember his music, his memory and his legend. He will always be an complete entertainer in our eyes. To the for their Lifetime achievement award to the iconic, O Jays ya’ll still got it “Money Money Money.”

Stop by tomorrow to get BET coverage, red carpet arrivals and more…….

Side Note: Thank you BET for NOT having Chris Brown on the show. We appreciate you for the choice you made and for the selection of talented artist who deserve to be on stage to entertain us all musically and in our hearts.

And to Jackie Washing aka Jennifer Lewis we saw you getting down with the O’Jays.

God Bless and until tomorrow.

Gossiboo out XOXO

Chris Brown will stop at nothing to get back his career and its seems like he is going to use the King of Pop’s death to try and relaunch his career. That is so low down and dirty on so many levels. I know we are speaking out right now, but Michael always said that Justing Timberlake or Usher had the talent to take the thrown. Not Chris Brown, he only has two albums and right now is a disgrace for beating Rihanna. Why BET, Why?

Whatever Chris we have lost another level of respect for you dude.Call us cut-throat, but we calling it like we see it!!!!

You have some great songs and we won’t take that from you, but to use a celebrities death to get your name buzzing again? That’s low.

Get more details on the inside….
